Crossroads Community Church has been in ministry for 65 years in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. We are a loving fellowship that averages 50 in attendance. We are a multicultural church that loves Jesus and works together. We are located 45 minutes northeast from Judson University.
We are seeking the Lord’s direction concerning a Worship Leader. Our church enjoys blended worship which includes praise and worship songs as well as an occasional hymn. The church has a good sound system and 3 video projectors. Our members do a good job of running the sound. For now, we use prerecorded songs with a praise team of 5 people, and we have one member who plays the piano. The position would include developing worship for each Sunday based upon the pastor’s message, weekly rehearsals and leadership of the Sunday service. The position would also include training up future leaders of our praise team as well as future worship leaders. Participation in sharing the gospel in our community is important to our church. We would look to this person to minister on Sundays and Wednesdays or an additional day that fits their schedule. We would hope that this candidate would be proficient in one instrument and have a calling from the Lord in leading worship and have a strong faith in Jesus Christ.

Our Pastor has been with us for 2 years. Dr. Tim Bailey has a vision of our church becoming a place where worship leaders are trained up to the serve the Lord. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Church Music from Oklahoma Baptist University, a Master of Divinity from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and a Doctor of Theology from the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He is loved by our congregation.
The position requires 10 hours per week @ $22.50 per hour. ($12,000.00 annually)
