Redeemer Church (Park Ridge, IL)

Part-time (6-10 hours/week) worship leader for a small, growing Christian congregation in

Park Ridge. The worship leader will put together monthly schedules, participate in song

selection, practice with musicians, and lead the band and congregation at an 11:00am

Sunday contemporary worship service.

The right person will have...

growing Christian faith and spiritual maturity

leadership ability and experience

previous experience in a worship band

ability to lead congregational singing

confidence leading from rhythm guitar or piano/keys

ability to direct a band and run rehearsal

some experience with basic sound tech

ability to learn new songs relatively quickly

motivation to recruit musicians

flexibility in working collaboratively

strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines

Musical style includes…

artists such as Elevation Worship, Crowder, Phil Wickham, Jon Foreman, Page CXVI, and

Rend Collective. We will also work collaboratively to incorporate new music recommended

by the worship leader.

Salary

$225/week (salary and specific job responsibilities are negotiable)
