📌 We’re Hiring for Two Key Roles:

1. Internal Vocational Advisor (On-campus internships)
2. External Vocational Advisor (Off-campus internships)

💼 About the Role:

RISE Vocational Advisors provide one-on-one support to college students with disabilities during their internships. You'll help guide them through real-world work experiences while fostering their independence and professional growth.

👥 Key Responsibilities:

• Support your assigned RISE student at their work site (on or off-campus)
• Attend all internship shifts alongside the student
• Help break down tasks and develop workplace skills
• Communicate with site supervisors and RISE staff
• Submit performance reports and surveys
• Attend training and advisor meetings

⏱️ Time Commitment:

• Internal: ~4 hours/week (usually 2 shifts per week)
• External: 8–12 hours/week (2–3 shifts per week)

✅ What We’re Looking For:

• Passion for serving students with disabilities
• Patience, reliability, and professionalism
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Flexibility with scheduling

Preferred:
Experience working with individuals with Autism, Down Syndrome, or Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities (IDD)

🚗 Additional for External Advisors:

• Coordinate Uber rides for students (training provided)
• Represent Judson University in the community
